Cosmos Yacon retains all the active ingredients of gentle drying process. Yacon is a traditional herbal product, intended as a dietary supplement.

DESCRIPTION: Cosmos Yacon 12,5 g - 60 capsules 

Dr. Popov contains Yacon - Andean plant known for thousands of years. The plant is of high growth and its most delicious part is the oblong oval, reminiscent of potatoes. They are unusually juicy, crisp and sweet. Yacon is called "earth apple" because its taste is like an apple with a melon. It contains many valuable amino acids, fiber, potassium, calcium, magnesium, iron and phosphorus, carotene, vitamins A, B1, B2, C and enzymes. Bulva Yacon contains up to 67% of fructo-oligosaccharides (FOS). FOS are types of sugars that are not absorbed by our body. They act as prebiotics, they are the "food" of beneficial bacteria in the digestive tract. Eats are not only Yacon's balls. Also, leaves and stems, which contain 11-17% of protein and similar components as the bulls, have a bitter taste.
Dietary supplements are a specific category of foods. They generally contain a wide range of vitamins, minerals and other substances. We use dietary supplements if our body does not get enough of these substances from a regular diet or as a prevention.
Preparations are approved by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic as a food supplement.
