They have beneficial effects on the human body (especially menthol) and are used for medical therapies as well as for ointments. For a pleasant and refreshing aroma is mainly used in the raw state as flavorings in salads, sauces and jellies. Inhalation
The simplest use of essential oils in aroma lamps. Water dripped into 3-8 drops of essential oil. Candle flame heats the bowl from which the first vaporize volatile essential oils. Also just a vial of oil lay on a heater or drip essential oil on a paper towel (and used, for instance during long journeys by car).
