JUST Orange Essential Oil 10 ml - DESCRIPTION:

Medicinal plants have been used for various ailments since time immemorial. Oils are used since ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome. Essential oils are the best concentrated extracts of plant. Essential oils are found in small quantities in the roots, leaves, flowers, bark or fruits.

Orange is a fruit  of orange tree (Citrus sinensis).  Apparently it comes from subtropical areas of China and Vietnam. It was brought to Europe by Portuguese traders in the 15th century and after the discovery of America soon spread there. Now it is grown in all subtropical areas. It is the most cultivated fruit from citrus plants.
 
Fruits are good source of vitamin C. Nearly 90% of oranges production is industrially processed. Peel is used to gain mainly pectin and essential oils which are used for aromatization of foodstuffs and cosmetics, to a lesser extent are used in medicine. Blossoms are used in a number of tea blends for their aroma and flavor. Petals are used in folk medicine mulled with salt to soothe nerves, against hypertension, asthma, fever or vomiting, mulled with sugar against absence of appetite.
 
Orange oil is obtained by pressing the peel of fresh fruit. Oil has a captivating warm, slightly sweet, fresh scent. Oil harmonizes body and soul, has a very beneficial effect on our nerves. Try to awake your senses and evoke a pleasant atmosphere with JUST Orange Essential Oil 10 ml!
