* Melon (cantaloupe) due to the low energy content is recommended in many diets and is suitable for diabetics. It also contains a large amount of proteins, and almost no fat. Above all, it provides a balanced dose of vitamins and minerals. The most important of these include vitamins C, B1, B6 and folic acid.
