Spiky coral is rare edible fungus fruiting body with a spherical or ovoid shape, size up to 30 cm. Grows parasitically on the damaged trunks of beeches and oaks. Because of its shape with spiky coral in English called "lion mane" in Chinese or German "monkey head". In Japan, Hericium erinaceus years hailed as an important medicinal mushrooms with difficulties digestive tract. It contains potassium, zinc, iron, germanium, selenium, phosphorus, but only a small amount of sodium. Represented are all essential amino acids as well as polysaccharides and proteins.
