DESCRIPTION: Unios Pharma Vitamin C Powder with L-ascorbic Acid 100 g

Vitamin C contributes to maintaining the normal functioning of the immune system during and after physical exercise, to normal collagen production for normal functioning of the blood vessels, bones, gums, skin, teeth, and contributes to the normal functioning of nervous psychic activity. It helps to reduce fatigue and exhaustion. The advantage of this product is its powder form, which is suitable for people with impaired swallowing reflex. It can also be used as an additive in beverages, salads, cereal breakfasts, etc. In the kitchen it can be replaced with citric acid.

L-ascorbic acid is used as an antioxidant eg in fruit juices or in the bakery or meat industry, where it reduces fat oxidation and thus prevents the formation of cancerous substances. It primarily helps to absorb iron from the small intestine and contributes to the proper functioning of cartilage, bone, blood vessels, skin and teeth. The lack of vitamin C is manifested by a disease called scurvy.
