Matcha tea is not fermented, so all amino acids, vitamins, minerals and fiber are preserved. In Japan and China, Matcha is also very popular for preparing hot and cold dishes. It can therefore be used, for example, for baking various desserts or for making homemade ice cream. It gives all food a beautiful green color, a strong taste and a special aroma.
The tea is prepared by pouring one teaspoon of powder with 200 ml of 80 ° C water. This mixture is then preferably whipped for 3 minutes with a bamboo chasen whisk, which can, however, in the extreme case be replaced by a milk whisk or an immersion mixer. After this time, a beautifully foamed matcha tea should be created, which is completely consumed without straining.
DOSAGE:
3 g of tea (1 heaped teaspoon) per 150-200 ml of water at a temperature of 70° - 80° C.
