Creatine is one of the main sources of energy used for muscle contraction. In the body, is synthesized in the kidney and liver from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. Creatine increases physical performance when consecutive short intervals, high intensity exercise - beneficial effect is obtained with intake of 3 g of creatine per day.
