Reynoutria is a perennial herb growing up to 4m in height. It is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine. It acts as an antiviral, as a broad-spectrum antibiotic, antifungal, anti-inflammatory, acts on the central nervous system (brain and spinal cord), protective and relaxing.
 
Extracts from Reynoutria are widely used in cosmetic and dermatological practice, mainly due to their anti-inflammatory effects in various skin diseases associated with increased pigmentation, including prevention of skin cancer from pigment cells - melanoma.
 
Reynoutria is one of the richest natural sources of resveratrol.
 
Resveratrol
The most powerful antioxidant in the world, which is considered a real elixir of health. It is 20 times stronger than vitamin C, 5 times stronger than beta-carotene and has 50 times higher antioxidant effect than vitamin E.

Reynoutria is not approved in the Czech Republic as a dietary supplement. Only for external use.
