DESCRIPTION: Grešík Comfrey ointment with camphor 50 ml

Comfrey is 60-100 cm tall perennial herb. The stem is straight, in the upper parts of a branched. Comfrey is mentioned since the 12th century as a medicinal plant. It contains mainly tannins, mucilaginous substances, essential oils and alkaloids. Collects mainly root, leaf and sometimes it should be used topically, it contains alkaloids that may be carcinogenic and during prolonged use can damage the inner body. It is mainly used as an ointment or tiles - fractures, inflammation lived in bruises. The drug contains abundant mucus, tannins, allantoin konsolidin, choline, asparagine, organic calcium and harmful pyrrolizidine alkaloids max. 0.3% (deleteriously affects only the isolated alkaloids).
Camphor has irritating effect on skin and mucous membranes, causing the congestion. Rapidly absorbed into the skin and accelerates the inflammatory process by accelerating the absorption of inflammation. Furthermore site produces warm feeling and acts as a mild local anesthetic and antiseptic. Besides inflammation has a positive effect on tired muscles, helps with rheumatic problems.
