Chia seeds derived from Salvia hispanica contain a high proportion of healthy omega-3 and 6-fatty acids in a very favorable ratio between and are a rich source of vitamins (A, C, E) and minerals (potassium, calcium, Phosphorus, magnesium and iron). Chia seeds contain natural antioxidants and many fiber, have a low glycemic index and are an excellent source of energy. Since they have a specific flavor, they are added to sweet and salty foods.

Chia seeds are suitable for celiac patients, diabetics, vegetarians, vegans, pregnant and lactating women.
