Bottom crust is brown pine trunk, at the top and at the branches has a rusty color, the ends of branches are covered with green bark. The root system is based on the existence of a massive, in-depth consecutively main root. Long needles 4-8 cm grow in bundles of two from Spurs. Blooms in April-June (for the first time at the age of 15-20 years). The male cones are sulfur-yellow and grow on the basis of herbaceous female pinkish red and can be found individually to three on the ends of branches under the top bud. Ripen in 3-10 cm long, conical ovoid cones two to three years.
